Welcome to the Histology Facility @ CCMB!

The histopathology lab prepares tissue sections to facilitate the microscopic examination for establishing a histopathologic diagnosis. The specimens submitted to histopath lab include biopsies or whole tissue organs. The role of this histopath lab involves in Tissue processing, paraffin block preparation, sectioning and staining procedures. It also provides cryotraining to the users.

This facility supports a wide range of projects of the Research groups at CSIR-CCMB. This facility is equipped with the following instruments.
