Indents
The System Functionalities:
- The system allows the Animal House In-charge (AHI) to register the approved projects and
species.
- The Project Investigators (PI) are authorized to access the system through the CCMB intranet.
- The PIs are allowed to login to the system using their ldap/email credentials, they can submit
the
indent
online for the animals.
- The AHI will verify the indents, sanction the quantity to be issued and mention his remarks (in
msg).
- The indent processing information will be sent to the indentor/PI to his registered email.
Main features of the System:
- The system access is restricted to only to the authorized PI's / nominees
- CCMB ladap/email credentials are been used for authentication of valid users
- The indentors/PIs can indent only for his/her sanctioned animals against their respective
project(s)
- The system will not allow the PIs for indenting animals pertaining to another PI
- AHI has the provision to track and monitor the indenting process, inventory and can generate
different reports on project wise, PI wise etc.
